Did you know that milk is your baby's primary source of nutrition for their whole first year?
From no earlier than 6 months (unless otherwise stated by a medical professional) you can supplement your little one's milk intake with their first introduction to other foods! The more flavours and textures, the better!
But milk is the priority!
Breast or bottle first and then food! Your little one still needs all the goodness breastmilk is designed to provide so we don't want other foods to fill their tummy's before they get their still much-needed milk.
To those formula-feeding, don't waste your money on number 2 (or beyond) formulas! Your little one will get all they need by staying on number 1 infant formula until they're 1 year old alongside the introduction of solids. At this point you can transition onto your family's chosen milk - dairy or otherwise. Don't let companies take your money unnecessarily
You can even boost the amount of milk they continue to get by cooking with it - mixed into scrambled egg or porridge or, if you decide to start with purees, it can be a great liquid to blend with your carrots and broccoli.
